If you need to sign the Out-of-Work Book, you may do so in person, fax or by email.

To sign via email or fax, please send a copy of your dues receipt and termination slip to:

Travelers Notice 

If you need to sign the Out-of-Work Book, please bring the following when you come into the hall:

  • ***A Travel Letter*** (must include classification/level and wage percentage, D.O.B. SSN, Phone Number, Initiation Date, and email address)
  • ***A current Dues Receipt***

Taking A Job Call

 Job calls will be posted by 5pm each day on the website and the job line. Applicants can sign the day sheet either in person or call in between 8am and 9am the day of referral. Applicants can also send an email to Daysheet@ibew716.net between 5:00 pm the day before referral up to 8:00 am the day of referral to be placed on the day sheet. When placing your name on the day sheet include ALL: full name, card number and phone number. (If multiple calls are available, please specify the call or calls you are interested in. All applicants must meet all requirements for a job referral before roll call begins. Calls will be filled in order the applicants are registered on the book. Starting at 9:30am, the Dispatcher will start calling to fill the job calls. All applicants accepting a referral over the phone must pick up referral and any associated paperwork by 12 noon unless otherwise stated. If applicant accepts a referral over the phone and comes to the hall to get referral without the required documents requested for the job call, the applicant will have to resign the bottom of the book. Also, if applicant fails to report to pick up the referral after accepting the job call, you will need to come in in person to resign the bottom of the book.  Emails before 5:00 pm or after 8:00 am will NOT be accepted.

2 – Rosendin Electric – 
– MPS – (Any Level) – Applicant must pass a possible drug test and background check, a valid ID, SS card, and a valid TX Electrical license. Will be working 4(10’s) and an 8 but working 4(10’s) and 2(8’s) as of now. Report to shop on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 @ 6:00 am for orientation and paperwork.
1 –Big State Electric – 
– LBJ Hospital (Mid-Level) – Applicant must pass a mandatory drug test and background check, have a valid DL, SS Card, OSHA 10, and a valid TX Electrical License. Will be working from 6:30 am to 3 pm Monday-Friday. Report to shop immediately after roll call.
1 – C.W. Henderson Electric – (Mid-High Level)
– Scattered Commercial – Applicant must pass a mandatory drug test and background check, have a valid DL, SS Card, OSHA 10, and a valid TX Electrical License. Report to the office immediately after roll call.
